Up until now, in my tips and issue analyses, I have been very careful and explicit about identifying whether I was making a scientific argument or a valuational comment based on my own subjective valuations of effects.
For stylistic reasons, from here on in, I will not be as explicit about this. The distinction remains, of course, important, but I trust that the reader will be able to identify when I am making a scientific argument and when a valuational comment.
